All 2025 County Championships & Events are now live on the County Golf Genius Portal and are open for entry.

As was the case last year, all competition entries will be via the Golf Genius portal.

Player entry events: (click on competition name to see flyer)

Mixed

• Team Challenge, 18-hole team competition. A mixed pair can enter and will be drawn with another mixed pair to make up a team or alternatively enter your own team of 4 players, (two men & two women). Maximum WHS Handicap Index of 24.0 for Men & 36.0 for Women at the time of entry. Closing date Friday 4th July.
• Foursomes Championship, 36-hole strokeplay. A pair must consist of a male and a female, who do not necessarily have to be from the same golf club. The pair must have a combined Handicap Index no greater than 24.0 on the date their entry is submitted. Closing date Friday 15th August.

Women

• County Championship, Singles 36-Hole Strokeplay for female members of no higher than 12.4 Handicap index on the date of entry. Closing date Friday 16th May.
• Senior County Championship, Singles 18-Hole Strokeplay. Competitors must be 50 or over on the day of the competition. Hold a Handicap Index of 15.4 or lower on the date their entry for the Championship is submitted. Closing date Friday 16th May.
• Spring Meeting, Teams of Four – Stableford - Best Two Scores to Count Maximum Handicap Index 36.4. NOW CLOSED

Men

• Herts Salver, Singles 18-Hole Strokeplay - qualifier for the County Championship for male members who hold a handicap index of 5.4 or lower on the date their entry is submitted. NOW CLOSED
• County Championship, Singles 36-Hole Strokeplay for male members who hold a handicap index of 5.4 or lower on the date their entry is submitted. Top 16 gross players go onto KO rounds over 2-days. NOW CLOSED

Juniors

• Girls Championship, 18-hole individual Strokeplay, Maximum Handicap Index for entry is 24.4. Competitors must be aged 17 or under as of 00:00 hours on 1st January preceding the Championship. Closing date Friday 8th August.
• Boys Championship, 36-hole Strokeplay, individual and team event. Competitors must be aged 17 or under as of 00:00 hours on 01/01/2025 with a Handicap Index no higher than 12.4. Closing date Friday 11th July.
