Mixed Golf

Mixed golf at Letchworth has a long and successful tradition.  Players can choose whether or not to play with their life partner. Our experience would suggest that many wives or husbands play better when not with their spouse and bloodshed is generally avoided!

In common with Men’s matches, a healthy fixture list tends to allow most people a chance to participate. Matches are played in an extremely friendly environment and there are many instances of friendships developing between our club members and members of other clubs.

All matches are extremely well organised by enthusiastic club members and tend to be played on Sundays between April and October, with a carvery to follow. No one remembers the result but everyone remembers the fun, and the old jokes which abound in after dinner speeches from the team Captains!
