Letchworth Golf Club

I am very proud to be Junior Captain for 2021 and would like to welcome you to Letchworth Golf Club. Across Hertfordshire, our Junior Section is one of the strongest in the county and being the second largest in Hertfordshire there is no doubt we have some very successful players coming through.

We are immensely lucky to have one of the best practice facilities in Hertfordshire , as well as the Academy and Heritage courses, which help our Juniors strive to play the best golf they possibly can. On top of this we have our excellent Assistant Pro, Darren Close, who teaches the up and coming players of all ages and abilities to develop them to be the best players they can. Darren encourages the Juniors to love the sport of golf by running first-class lessons every weekend, all year round and help them to become Letchworth Junior Members.

Furthermore, we have a great team of organisers for our Junior matches and competitions. So much work is put in behind the scenes to ensure all of the competitions run as smoothly as possible and we all appreciate the effort they put in.

Overall, I'm sure you can see that our Junior Section is an amazing environment filled with wonderful people who will support you wherever possible. So if you are Junior and play this amazing game, or are interested and want to get started, we would love to see as many new, bright faces as possible to join our outstanding golf club. I hope to see more and more of you on the course, and together help to develop the club even further.
