4BBB stableford competition played from the yellow tees.  A Letchworth player will play with a Guest and the playing partners and 4 balls will be selected randomly.  Handicap allowance is 85% of Course Handicap and the maximum Handicap Index is 26.0 (giving a maximum Course Handicap of 29 and a maximum Playing Handicap of 25).  Those with a Handicap Index higher than 26.0 can still take part but will play off the maximum Playing Handicap of 25.  There are prizes for the best 3 better ball scores, nearest the pin on all par 3’s and nearest the pin in 2 on the 9th.  Ties will be resolved via countback. Players can win only 1 prize. 

Tea and coffee will be available prior to starting play, the Halfway House will provide bacon / sausage baps, tea and coffee and a carvery lunch will be followed by Prize Giving.

There will be a shotgun start.
