The Faldo Futures is an all-inclusive junior golf competition designed to drive participation and retention among boys and girls aged 7-12. The competition follows a structured pathway, beginning with Qualifying Events held during the April Easter holidays. Winners from these events progress to the Regional Finals, which take place during the May half term and selected weekends in June, offering a higher level of competition. The best performers from the Regional Finals will earn an invitation to the Faldo Futures Final, held in August at The Belfry during the British Masters. This progression allows young golfers to experience increasing levels of challenge while developing their skills in a fun and competitive environment

Gender: Boys & Girls - Ages: 7–12 - Format: 9-hole stroke play (no handicaps) - Shortened golf course with two sets of tee markers - No handicaps required or memberships required - Maximum Shots Per Hole: 9 (players pick up after their 9th shot; score

DIVISIONS & ELIGIBILITY Players compete in six divisions based on their age as of January 1, 2026: - Boys 7-8 - Boys 9-10 - Boys 11-12 - Girls 7-8 - Girls 9-10 - Girls 11-12 Each player will remain in their division for the entire 2026 season

EVENT SETUP & YARDAGES Each event should set up two different tee markers: Front Tee: 1800 - 2000 yards (9 holes) - Boys 7-8 - Girls 7-8 & 9-10 3 Back Tee: 2000 – 2200 yards (9 holes) - Boys 9-10 & 11-12 Girls 11-12

WINNERS & ADVANCEMENT CRITERIA Winners will be determined by the lowest gross scores in each division. - Top 2 and ties from each division qualify for the Regional Final - 12 or more qualifiers per event - No playoffs Example Scenarios: - If one player finishes 1st and three players tie for 2nd, all four advance - If two players tie for 1st and two players tie for 3rd, only the two 1st place finishers advance - If one player finishes 1st and one finishes 2nd, both advance Note: - If a player has already qualified for a Regional Final, their invitation will be passed on to the next eligible player based on score.
