Who is Women on Par aimed at?

Women on Par is perfect for women who have recently taken a Get into Golf or other beginner activity and want to get out on the course. It’s also ideal for those with just a little experience.

What is a Women on Par event? Women on Par helps new golfers develop as players and has been designed to be delivered over a short course, or Par 3 length holes. The programme utilises a variety of fun on course challenges to support beginners get out onto the golf course. Instead of just focusing on counting shots, beginners will also learn the basic rules and etiquette of the game. This event caters for beginners and those people who have played a little. You will be supported by volunteers during the event who will provide you with encouragement and be there to guide you round.

In this event format you will play 12 shortened holes where you will have the opportunity to complete up to 19 on course challenges which is all encompassed within the challenge scorecard. You will meet new friends, have fun and it's a great way to get a taste for what the club and its social life is like too. 

What should I wear at a Women on Par event? These events are designed to be very informal so you can wear what you like if it's comfy and keeps you warm or cool depending on the weather! Trainers or any type of flat-soled shoes are ideal footwear. 

Do I need to bring anything to the event? Remember to bring a bottle of squash or water, especially if the weather is hot. Don't worry if you don't have any equipment, we can provide this for you. Just let us know.

How much will the event cost? The event will cost £15.00 per visitor and £7.50 per member, which includes 12-Holes of play, a drink after play and prizes. 

How many places are available at each event? Availability will be on a first come, first serve basis with a maximum of 24 players for this event, playing in groups of 4.
